A storming success - most visitors ever

The Pure Catwalk :

 

 

Pure (11.-13.February) ended on a high level attracting the most ever visitors - showing a 4% increase from last February's event. Among key buyers attending were Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser, John Lewis, El Corte Ingles, Debenhams and key independents Drome, Stone and Psyche.

Pure had an impressive increase of 10% in actual number of overseas visitors compared to last year, with good attendance from Ireland, Japan, Spain, Germany, Italy and France.

Top Names At PURE
Creating a real buzz, buyers were impressed by the strength of the products on show. Over 800 directional womenswear and accessory brands showcased at the London Olympia venue, including over 160 new brands, Pure offered covetable designs from young creative labels through to established designer labels.

This season Pure's Spirit section was the largest ever, in a hall of its own, the National Hall, with KISS DJs adding to the atmosphere, it housed exciting young creative labels.
New ready-to-wear brands adding to this season's impressive line up included: Philipp Plein with his use of real diamonds and gems, De Puta Madre with his hip cult t-shirts; Kapalua with exciting directional designs; plus Criminal Damage, Polo Sylt, Traffic People, Uma Jane and many more, which all could be found in Pure Spirit.

More new brands at
Pure Elan, for contemporary brands and bridge collections for the fashion forward woman,
Pure Vision for inspirational designer brands and
Pure Impulse showcasing popular high street fashion and casual wear
included: Bandolera; CoCu Corset Couture; Arisca; Fin, Dranella; grønnbaek and Olzuma Jeans.

Taking up two galleries, Pure Accessories showcased new footwear brands like Terry De Havilland with glamorous high heels, stunning wedges using luxury materials; Luis Onofre with stunning designer shoes with matching bags and jewellery; Ugly Duckling offering a unique hand writing of commercial product with a beautiful design twist; plus 7 For All Mankind; Ilse Jacobsen; Angeline Tournier, KangaROOS and many more.

Buyers and exhibitors alike enjoyed the well attended daily catwalk show and Drapers' fashion forecasts, offering exclusive trend and industry information which make Pure the place for all fashion-forward retailers. Pure looks forward to another successful show. Next season's dates are 05.-07. August 2007.
