Kim Hicks Collection F/W 2013

For her first Parisian couture collection Autumn-Winter 2013-14, Kirn Hicks has drawn her inspiration from the tones of the 20s and 30s where art deco meets Pre-Raphaelite art from the Victorian age.

The shapes are textured, the pleats are voluminous, and the uneven seams dare femininity. The details wind themselves around in the embroidered pleats and feathers, decorated by organza flowers and laces.

The materials boast crystals of iced blue colors with variations of emerald green and tones of maroon browns. The contrasting colors reveal the subtlety of a touch of iridescent metallic gray-The Fall/Winter 2013/2014 collection is a perfect signature of its sublimely glamorous and feminine designer, marking the beginning of a New Yorker's Parisian adventure and love for the French capital.
